Another Little Adventure

I am happy to announce another tiny adventurer will be joining Sarah Under the Sea in November!

14 Weeks

Gender: We are Team Green all the way so we will not find out until baby’s arrival in November. Right now I am feeling Boy but Paddy is hoping Girl. With Ella, I felt Boy up until 26 or 28 weeks; then I knew with very little doubt she was a girl.

Weight: up 2 lbs.

Craving: meat, sweets, soup, and salad. I wouldn’t call it craving but green vegetables make me happy.

Aversions: left overs and most anything served cold…except ice cream, give me all the ice cream.

Sleep: The crazy dreams have started; Paddy & I were extras in the next shark attack thriller in last night’s dream. Sleeping as well as I can with a 15 month old in the next room. The bump is too big for me to sleep on my belly so getting to sleep is difficult but once I am asleep I sleep well.

Missing: sushi and SCUBA diving

Exercise: I am keeping up the skating and focusing on Moves In the Field, walking, swimming, and all that general life with a toddler includes. I try to squeeze in some prenatal yoga from YouTube during nap times on the weekend. I need to figure out how to make it happen during the work week.

Toddler: 15 months. She has a new interest in babies; saying “baby” and playing with her baby dolls, but overall my new belly is just better to bounce on. We pottied in the potty first thing every morning this week!

Highlight of the Week: First Drs appointment with the new midwife practice.  Confirmed baby is okay in there and heard the heartbeat. I have been dying to share this news since the pee stick turned at 4 weeks but it seemed to early to begin bumpdates before there was even a bump!

Yes, this will hit the Pause Button on many of my plans (funny, just like last time) but this time I promise not to let it slow me down. I will still be going to Bonaire, just minus the diving. It’s going to be snorkeling, kayaking, and shore adventures for this momma.

Want to follow along on this journey? Head over to the Bumpdate page for week-by-week updates on as this sea monkey continues to grow!
